Program Overview Youth Club is a new organization by Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board that empowers youth representatives to plan and lead monthly social programs for Ismaili youth. Youth club representatives will be selected and given unique opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and communication skills development as well as to engage and lead the community. What will you gain as a Youth Club Representative? - Develop project management skills as you oversee program execution from start to finish - Build critical thinking and problem solving skills through program planning - Strengthen communication skills by engaging with various stakeholders - Serve as the voice of Ismaili youth and as a consultative body for AKYSB to ensure youth needs are met - Work with AKYSB on other large scale initiatives and programming based on your interests and skillset Role Requirements: - In 11th or 12th grade - Attend Mid-Cities or Tri-Cities Jamatkhana - Available to serve from July 2022 - July 2023 - Plan and execute a social event or activity for youth once a month - Be passionate about leadership, team work, and youth empowerment & engagement within the community Deadline to Apply: Sunday, July 10, 2022 Questions?: E-mail us at [email protected] For more information, please visit akysbcentral.org/youthclub.
