Program Brief: AKYSB Youth Leadership Forum
Empowering Ismaili Youth to Lead with Purpose

Overview
The Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a youth-led initiative designed for 10th–12th grade students who want to make a meaningful impact in their community. YLF empowers participants to share their perspectives, develop leadership skills, and co-create solutions with AKYSB board members across various portfolios, including Sports, Arts and Culture, Scouting, CIVIC, and more.
Students will alternate taking on roles as Program Managers, identifying key issues that matter to their generation and working in collaboration with existing AKYSB portfolios to design relevant, engaging, and community-building programs.
Eligibility
• Must have an interest in leadership, community service, and shaping youth-centered programming.
• Must commit to monthly meetings and collaborative project work.
• Will be entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the 2026–2027 academic year.
