Code of Conduct
In order to participate as a volunteer at the 2025 Ismaili College Games (the “Program”):
• The participant must be residing in the United States, and either an Ismaili Muslim or the spouse or child of an Ismaili Muslim (the “Minimum Age Policy”);
Attendee Expectations:
The following expectations apply to athletes, coaches, parents, chaperones, volunteers, and spectators (collectively, the “Attendees” and each individually, an “Attendee”):
• Positive attitude, gentle inquiry and reasonable requests are appreciated rather than offensive lines of questioning, foul language or complaints;
• Argument with an official or scorekeeper is not permitted, and therefore, the Attendee and his/her team risk disqualification;
• A protest may be put in writing on the official’s score sheet. Improper gesture, discriminatory remark or violent behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to disciplinary action and/or immediate disqualification from the respective game and/or the Ismaili College Games;
• Each Attendee must respect borrowed or rented property; this includes, but is not limited to, hotel rooms, any vehicles (rented or otherwise) or other modes of transportation engaged in connection with this Program, sports equipment, and event sites (fields, gyms, rest rooms, cafeteria, etc.);
• Full compliance with all of the Program’s policies; and
• A Zero Tolerance Policy applies to an Attendee’s behaviors and/or actions at the 2025 Ismaili College Games , as well as at all activities and properties in connection with the 2025 Ismaili College Games , including without limitation the hotels at which Attendees will stay or at which Attendees will attend any activity related to the 2025 Ismaili College Games. Each of the following constitutes a violation of the Zero Tolerance Policy:
a. Possession of, use of, furnishing of, or assisting anyone in possessing, using, or furnishing, a firearm, imitation firearm, knife, explosive, or other weapon or dangerous object;
b. Possession of, use of, furnishing of, or assisting anyone in possessing, using, or furnishing, tobacco, any product containing tobacco or nicotine (including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, cigars, miniature cigars, clove cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, snuff, chew packets, and betel), or any paraphernalia or equipment associated with the use of any such substances;
c. Possession of, use of, furnishing of, being under the influence of, or assisting anyone in possessing, using, or furnishing, an alcoholic beverage, controlled substance, intoxicant, or any paraphernalia or equipment associated with the use of any such substances;
d. Causing, attempting to cause, threatening, or encouraging another to cause or threaten, physical injury or sexual assault to any person;
e. Any act, or encouragement, of bullying (including, but not limited to, cyber bullying) or sexual harassment of any person;
f. Any attempt to bully (including, not limited to, cyber bullying) or sexually harass any person;
g. Any act, or encouragement, of dehumanizing, humiliating, or causing emotional distress to any person;
h. Any attempt to dehumanize, humiliate, or cause emotional distress to any person; and
i. Any behavior that any of the Institutions (as defined herein), in its/his/her sole and absolute discretion, considers to be inappropriate.
A violation of any of the above Participant Expectations (including the Minimum Age Policy) or Attendee Expectations, or of any of the Program’s policies, will lead to one or more of the following disciplinary actions:
• If the violation is committed by an athlete, coach, and/or the team(s) associated with the athlete or coach, the immediate suspension of one or more of the following, from the 2025 Ismaili College Games : the athlete, the coach, the team(s), the coach(es) associated with the athlete or team(s), and/or the team(s) associated with the athlete or coach;
• The Attendee being required to leave, and/or being prohibited from entering or re-entering, any event, function, activity, area, or vehicle handled or arranged in connection with any aspect or component of the Program (regardless of whether or not the event, function, activity, area, or vehicle is on, at, or in the site of a sporting event, a hotel, or any other venue, or is without a fixed venue);
• Other adverse consequences (which may include, but not be limited to, a prohibition or other limitation in the Participant’s, any of his/her team members’, and/or his/her entire team’s eligibility to compete or otherwise participate (whether as a team, athlete, coach, chaperone, or any other capacity) in one or more future events that are entirely or partially sponsored, planned, organized, or coordinated by any of the institutions or organizations of the Ismaili community (including, but not limited to, the Aga Khan Youth & Sports Board for the United States of America, any of the Aga Khan Youth & Sports Local Boards within the United States of America, His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for the United States of America, or any of His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Local Councils within the United States of America)). The selection, extent, and degree of such adverse consequences may be made in the sole and absolute discretion of one or more Institutions (as defined herein); and
• Any of the Institutions (as defined herein) may notify an athlete’s, coach’s, and/or team members’ parent(s)/legal guardian(s), other family members, and/or chaperones of one or more violations by the athlete, coach, and/or team member(s) and/or of any facts and circumstances involving the violation(s).
• “Institutions” shall be defined herein as any of Aga Khan Youth & Sports Board for the United States of America, the Aga Khan Youth & Sports Boards for each of the regions within the United States of America, the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for the United States of America, Social Safety Net, the Aga Khan Social Welfare Boards for each of the regions within the United States of America, the Aga Khan Health Board for the United States of America, the Aga Khan Health Boards for each of the regions within the United States of America, His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for the United States of America, His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Councils for each of the regions of the United States of America, and other boards and portfolios), the Ismaili Imamat, and the respective decision-makers, members, officers, employees, staff, volunteers (including, but not limited to, those volunteers associated with the Program), representatives, attorneys, affiliates and agents of the Ismaili Imamat and/or of each of the aforementioned institutions and organizations.

Adult Release, Consent, and Code of Conduct Agreement
This agreement is between me and JMC (as defined below). In exchange for the being given the opportunity to participate in Sports Tournament
(the “Activity”), arranged in whole or in part by Jubilee Monuments Corp, its employees, volunteers,
staff, leaders, representatives, agents, and/or affiliates (“JMC”), and all their heirs, executors, successors,
representatives, and agents, I agree as follows:
1. I will observe, follow, and comply with all policies, procedures, expectations, rules,
regulations, requirements, restrictions, and guidelines set forth for the Activity (the “Rules”), as
well as all consequences that result against the Minor due to violation of the Rules, including but
not limited to removal from the Activity. I acknowledge that JMC has sole discretion to determine
all aspects of the Activity, including the Rules and the consequences for their violation, and to take
any actions it deems necessary to ensure the safe and proper conduct of the Activity.
2. I voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks connected with the Activity or the Minor’s
participation in the Activity, including but not limited to the risk of loss, property damage, or
personal injury, including death, whether involving, in part or in whole, the conduct (including but
not limited to the acts, omissions, negligence, gross negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, or
otherwise) of JMC.
3. I hereby release and discharge JMC and His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council
for the United States of America, its regional and local councils, boards, portiolios, affiliates,
members, officers, leaders, employees, staff, volunteers, representatives, and/or agents (the
“Institutions”) from any and all liabilities, losses, claims, demands, suits, actions, causes of action,
damages, expenses, and costs (including but not limited to court costs and atorneys’ fees)
whatsoever (“Claims”), arising out of or in connection with any loss, harm, or personal injury,
including death, that may be sustained by the Minor or another, or any loss of or harm to property
belonging to the Minor or another, and in any way connected with the Activity or the Minor’s
participation in the Activity, including but not limited to transportation or lodging, whether
involving, in part or in whole, the conduct (including but not limited to the acts, omissions,
negligence, gross negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, or otherwise) of JMC or the Institutions. I
also covenant not to pursue against JMC or the Institutions any Claims as described in this section.
4. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless JMC and the Institutions for any Claims that it
may incur due to the Minor’s participation in the Activity, whether asserted by JMC, the
Institutions, or a third party, whether involving, in part or in whole, the conduct (including but not
limited to the acts, omissions, negligence, gross negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, or
otherwise) of JMC or the Institutions.
5. I hereby consent to any medical treatment which I may need and which arises in connection with
the Activity or my participation in the Activity; provided, however, nothing in this agreementshall
be deemed an obligation by the Institutions to provide any such medical treatment. I understand
that the Institutions do not carry healthcare insurance that covers me, and I am solely responsible
for the cost of all medical treatment. I also authorize the Institutions to take any measures
necessary in their sole discretion to protect the health of safety of me and others, including but
not limited to removing me from the Activity and/or informing my family members, other
Institutions, and medical or public health professionals of any actual or suspected concerns in
connection with my physical health (e.g., a communicable disease that may spread to others) or
mental and emotional health (e.g., behavior that may cause harm to me or others), and any
medical or other information related to such concerns.
6. Except as expressly agreed to in writing by JMC, I will bear all costs relating to the
participation in the Activity.
7. I grant to JMC and each of its representatives, licensees, assigns, and
affiliates, the absolute and irrevocable right, permission, consent, and license to take photographs,
videos, and sound recordings of me and/or my property during the Activity, and to use, reuse,
publish, republish, distribute, and/or modify these photographs, videos, and sound recordings, in
whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, and in any and all media now
or hereafter known, and for any legally permissible purpose whatsoever.
8. This agreement is intended to benefit JMC, and the Institutions, who may enforce the terms of
the agreement.
9. This agreement shall be binding on behalf of my representatives, family members, heirs,
successors, assigns, estate, and any other persons or entities claiming through or under me or any
of them.
10. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Activity and/or this agreement shall,
before the filing of a lawsuit or any other legal proceeding, first be submitted for mediation
administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Mediation
Procedures.
11. The delay or failure of JMC to exercise any right in connection with this agreement is not to be
construed as a waiver of that right.
12. The provisions of this agreement should be applied to the greatest extent allowed by law. In the event that any provision of this agreement is held invalid or without full legal effect, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
I HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN THIS PARTICIPATION AND RELEASE AGREEMENT AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT
ALLOWED BY LAW. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND FULLY COMPETENT.
