The Ismaili CIVIC Service Award for the Southwestern USA honors individuals between the ages 5-24 who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to serving their communities through the Ismaili CIVIC initiative. This award celebrates those who exemplify the spirit of volunteerism by selflessly offering their time, skills, and energy to drive meaningful, positive change across the region. Why Join? Civic engagement has long been a cornerstone of the Ismaili community’s values globally. Rooted in the ethic of service, the Ismaili community prioritizes giving back as a way to uplift society and address critical social issues. By engaging in service, we strengthen the bonds within our communities, promote inclusivity, and contribute to the well-being of all, regardless of faith or background. Recognizing these contributions through this award not only honors individual acts of service but also reinforces our collective responsibility to nurture a more compassionate, equitable, and sustainable world. In celebrating these efforts, we hope to inspire more members of our Jamat in the Southwestern USA to continue this tradition of civic engagement and make an even greater impact.
